Job summary

GMB Builders is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join the Lindendale-based team in Northern NSW. You will oversee multiple projects from construction handover through to final completion, coordinating factories, crews, and subcontractors on site.

Ideal candidates will have solid experience as a Construction Manager or similar role in residential construction, with knowledge of modular/prefabricated methods and managing multiple concurrent projects.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Construction Manager, Project Manager or Senior Site Manager is required.
• Residential construction experience is essential.
• Experience in modular/prefabricated construction or managing multiple concurrent projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage factory construction and onsite installation programs.
• Program and allocate internal construction crews.
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades, transport and installation crews.
• Manage construction schedules through Buildertrend.
• Ensure materials, trades and resources are organised ahead of each stage.
• Monitor project costs, timelines and productivity.
• Maintain quality control and construction standards.
• Conduct factory and pre-transport QA inspections.
• Oversee site installation, defects and final handover.
• Work closely with procurement/project representative and Business Manager.
