Job summary

Prebuilt is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our commercial team at a 9,000m² manufacturing facility in Kilsyth. You will coordinate all aspects of project delivery across design, procurement, manufacturing and construction, maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams.

Prebuilt is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our growing commercial team at our 9,000m² manufacturing facility in Kilsyth.

This is an opportunity to work across a diverse pipeline of permanent modular construction projects throughout Victoria and New South Wales, collaborating closely with our design, projects, construction and leadership teams.

Unlike traditional construction, our integrated approach means you'll have direct visibility across design, estimating, manufacturing and delivery and you'll be able to see the projects you price being built right here in our facility.

About the Role

Working across design, procurement, manufacturing and construction, you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of project delivery while maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is organised, commercially aware and confident managing multiple stakeholders while keeping projects moving.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Coordination

• Develop and manage project programs, budgets and resource requirements.




• Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors and suppliers to achieve key project milestones.




• Lead project kick-off, design coordination and project close-out meetings.




• Manage project approvals, inspections and certifications throughout delivery.




• Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impact project timeframes.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the key point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.




• Build strong client relationships and provide clear, regular project updates.




• Manage expectations and respond proactively to project concerns or changes.




• Work closely with our Sales, Design, Construction and Compliance teams to ensure a smooth transition from contract award through to handover.

Construction & Delivery

• Work closely with Site Supervisors and construction teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.




• Monitor project progress against program and coordinate solutions where delays or challenges arise.




• Ensure construction activities comply with relevant building requirements, safety standards and company procedures.




• Maintain a strong focus on quality, programme and successful project outcomes.

Commercial & Cost Management

• Monitor project budgets and costs throughout delivery.




• Identify opportunities to minimise unnecessary costs and effectively manage project variations.




• Manage purchase orders, subcontractor agreements and project-related quotations.




• Review and manage progress claims and final accounts.

Risk, Compliance & Project Close-Out

• Identify project risks early and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.




• Ensure project documentation remains accurate, current and compliant.




• Coordinate practical completion, client handover and project close-out requirements.




• Conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and opportunities for continuous improvement.
