Job summary

Plena Healthcare is seeking a mobile Speech Pathologist to deliver high-quality care to adults across residential aged care facilities in the Wollongong region. You will handle a diverse caseload spanning dysphagia and communication, with opportunities to grow skills and gain national clinical support.

This full-time role offers Monday–Friday work, with part-time considered for the right candidate, and a $500 annual PD allowance to support your development.

Qualifications

• Recognised qualification in Speech Pathology.
• Current membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
• Driver's licence and reliable vehicle for mobile role.
• Passion for supporting adults to live healthier, more independent lives.

Responsibilities

• Assess and provide evidence-based intervention for swallowing and communication difficulties.
• Support adults with complex and changing clinical needs.
• Provide dysphagia and communication assessment and intervention across residential aged care.
• Manage your own calendar, appointments and travel schedule.
• Deliver telehealth assessment and intervention where appropriate.
• Work collaboratively with clients, families, facility staff and other healthcare professionals.
