Job summary

Plena Healthcare in Sydney's Northern Beaches seeks a mobile Speech Pathologist to deliver dysphagia and communication assessments to adults in aged care and the community. You’ll join a closely connected team and have access to internal supervision and professional development support.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification in Speech Pathology with active membership of Speech Pathology Australia.

Responsibilities

• Manage calendar of appointments with flexible hours and locations.
• Assess and diagnose swallowing and communication difficulties.
• Potential for national travel to regional clients.
• Provide telehealth-based dysphagia and/or communication intervention.
• Liaise with the national team of Speech Pathologists.
• Advocate for clients with communication difficulties.
• Collaborate with staff, support coordinators and Plena colleagues to ensure care needs are met.
• Provide consultative and educational support to clients, families and colleagues.
