Job summary

Plena Healthcare is seeking an adult-servicing Speech Pathologist for a part-time role (2 days per week) servicing RAC facilities in the Wollongong region, NSW. You will deliver mobile Speech Pathology services to adults in residential aged care and the community, with telehealth options and strong supervision support.

We support clinicians with extensive resources, internal/external workshops, and a $500 annual allowance for professional development.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification in Speech Pathology with active membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
• Willingness to travel and have a valid drivers license.
• Part-time 2 days per week schedule in Wollongong region.

Responsibilities

• Manage calendar of appointments and flexibly choose work hours and locations.
• Assess and diagnose swallowing and communication difficulties.
• Potential for national travel to support clients in regional locations.
• Provide telehealth-based dysphagia and/or communication assessment and intervention.
• Liaise with Plenas national team of Speech Pathologists and staff to ensure optimum care.
• Provide consultative and educational support to clients, families and colleagues.
