Job summary

Motion Fluid Power Solutions is seeking a Mobile Service Technician to manage your day, attend customer sites across the Perth metro area, and keep heavy equipment operating safely and efficiently.

You will report to the Service Manager and work with workshop staff, parts specialists, and customers. The role offers on-site work, competitive remuneration and opportunities for overtime and benefits within a national business.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification or equivalent experience in mobile plant or heavy equipment servicing.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical diagnostic skills.
• Proven experience as a mobile technician in a field service environment.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Current driver’s license; heavy vehicle license and forklift ticket advantageous.
• Willingness to travel within the Perth metro area and surrounding regions.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs of a range of equipment and machinery.
• Conduct inspections and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems efficiently.
• Collaborate with customers to understand issues and provide professional service solutions.
• Maintain accurate service reports and documentation in line with company standards.
• Adhere to safety protocols and promote a safe working environment.
• Manage parts inventory and coordinate with workshops as required.
