Job summary

A leading mobile service company in Whyalla seeks a Mobile Service Technician to repair and service plant and machinery on-site. The role involves troubleshooting mechanical problems for various clients. Candidates should ideally have a trade qualification and must be flexible with working hours, including after-hours on-call duties. A fully maintained service vehicle will be provided, along with training and a supportive work environment.

THE ROLE

As a Mobile Service Technician you will be out on the road (once we know you have the skills and tools to solve the problems) in and out of client sites and our workshop doing what you do best - fixing mechanical problems.

Most of our work is repairing and servicing plant and machinery in the field in a breakdown situation or undertaking new installation work on a variety of plant equipment.

People enjoy the work because its not repetitive, you are out and about and you get to use your brain and troubleshoot problems. You get a variety of different customers so you're not tied to working with the same crew, doing the same thing day in and day out.

We'll give you a fully maintained service vehicle and naturally as much training as we can. This role is best suited if you are living in Whyalla and are available for overtime as well as participating in a 24-hour on-call roster in time - but don't worry you get paid extra for that!
