Job summary

Metal Biz Recyclers, based in Rocklea (Brisbane), is expanding and seeking experienced mobile machine operators for a permanent full-time role. We offer competitive remuneration and a supportive team environment.

You will operate various plant equipment, loading/unloading vehicles, and ensuring loads are secure while following safety procedures. This is a pathway to long-term opportunities within a fast-growing recycling business.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and tickets/certificates to operate machinery.
• Be motivated and enthusiastic with the ability to work as part of a team.
• Commitment to safe work practices and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate various plant safely and confidently.
• Load/unload customer vehicles and ensure loads are secure.
• Assist in maintaining facility safety and participate in safety initiatives (pre-starts, toolbox talks).
• Permanent full-time position with long-term job security and opportunities for overtime.

Must have experience in operating Material Handler, Excavator, Front-loader.

Able to operate various types of plant safely and confidently

Loading/unloading customer vehicles.

Checking loads are secure.

Assist in maintaining the safety of the facility

Participation in safety initiatives including pre-starts, toolboxes and incident reporting
