Job summary

Budget Rent A Car is seeking a Mobile Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Blacktown, NSW. The role involves performing routine maintenance and diagnostics on diesel-powered vehicles, with mobile servicing at client sites and Budget facilities across the Blacktown region.

You will diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment, repair engines, transmissions, brakes and electrical systems, and maintain service records.

Qualifications

Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic licence or NSW-recognised equivalent.
3–5 years' diesel engine maintenance experience.
Knowledge of engines, transmissions, brakes and electrical systems.
Valid Australian driver's licence and willingness to travel to multiple service locations.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and diagnostics on diesel-powered vehicles.
Conduct mobile servicing and repairs at client sites and Budget facilities across Blacktown region.
Diagnose faults with diagnostic equipment and repair engines, transmissions, brakes and electrical systems.
Maintain detailed service records and ensure safety standards and regulatory compliance.
Communicate with customers about vehicle condition, repairs needed and timelines.
Assist fleet management to reduce downtime and optimise vehicle availability.
Two days at Gosford/Tuggerah locations.
