Bridgestone Select Tyre & Auto Blacktown is seeking a full-time Motor Mechanic to join our workshop at Unit 17/47 Third Avenue, Blacktown NSW 2148. The role offers a salary of $80,000 plus superannuation and a hands-on environment repairing and servicing vehicles to high standards.

You will identify mechanical issues using diagnostic tools, disassemble and inspect engines and gearboxes, perform routine servicing, and test rebuilt systems to ensure roadworthiness and safety.

Qualifications

• Relevant Trade Qualification.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience.
• A keen eye for details.
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify mechanical issues using diagnostic tools.
• Disassemble and inspect engines, gearboxes and steering systems.
• Repair or replace damaged parts per manufacturer guidelines.
• Perform routine servicing and maintenance to meet emission standards.
• Rebuild and refit engines and assemblies.
• Test and calibrate repaired systems for safe operation.
• Use computer-based diagnostics to assess faults.
• Inspect vehicles for safety and prepare repair reports.
