Job summary

Aston Advantage is seeking a Trade qualified Diesel Mechanic to service and repair a fleet of diesel-driven pumps, generators, and related equipment across NSW. The role blends workshop and field service with a fully maintained service vehicle and quality tools provided.

Earn $45–$55/hr (casual) with penalties, and explore long-term career growth in a growing equipment hire business that values hands-on problem solving on diesel engines from Hatz, Perkins and Yanmar.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in diesel technology or equivalent.
• Experience with diesel engines, pumps, generators, mobile plant or heavy equipment.
• Experience with Hatz, Perkins, and Yanmar engines is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, diagnose and repair 4” to 12” diesel-driven pumps, generators and equipment.
• Carry out workshop servicing and field breakdowns.
• Fault finding and preventative maintenance at customer sites across NSW.
