Gallagher Bassett is seeking a Mobile Case Manager in NSW to guide individuals through recovery and return-to-work journeys with face-to-face support. The role emphasizes empathetic, personalized service and collaboration with employers, health professionals, and vocational providers to achieve timely, sustainable outcomes.

You'll operate across Sydney and Newcastle teams, with optional novated vehicle leasing support and a hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Experience in Workers’ Compensation, Return to Work or Claims Management is essential.
• Knowledge of return-to-work legislation and work health benefits is essential.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills with a team mindset.
• Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Proactive and empathetic approach to supporting individuals through recovery.
• Current and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate face-to-face visits with injured workers, employers and health professionals to support recovery and return-to-work plans.
• Educate stakeholders on the return-to-work process, legislation and available support services.
• Attend medical reviews and collaborate with vocational providers to implement strategies for early intervention and successful outcomes.
• Develop and monitor Work Plans to achieve sustainable return-to-work goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation to support evidence-based decisions and ensure compliance with claims management processes.

Overview

As a Mobile Case Manager, you will play a vital role in guiding individuals through their recovery and return-to-work journey following a workplace injury. You’ll deliver a personalised, empathetic, and face-to-face service, helping individuals achieve a sustainable return to work and life. Your focus will be on positively influencing and encouraging all parties to actively participate in the return-to-work process and take ownership of their actions. We currently have vacancies available within our established Sydney team, as well as our newly created Newcastle team!

If you do not currently have access to a vehicle, we can assist you with obtaining a novated vehicle lease, ensuring you have the tools you need to succeed in this role.

How you'll make an impact

• Facilitate face-to-face visits with injured workers, employers, and health professionals to support recovery and return-to-work plans.

About you

• Experience in Workers’ Compensation, Return to Work or Claims Management, (essential)
• Knowledge of the Return to Work Act, relevant legislation, and work health benefits (essential)
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills with a team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work autonomously and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• A proactive and empathetic approach to supporting individuals through their recovery journey.
• Current & valid drivers license
