Avina in Melbourne Inner Southeast is seeking a Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our warm, multidisciplinary team. This mobile, community-based role delivers Positive Behaviour Support in home, school, and community settings, with a caseload shaped around your local area.

You’ll work within a National allied health organisation, collaborating with OT, Speech Pathology, and other clinicians. Key requirements include NDIS Core suitability, NDIS checks, and a driver’s license for travel;

Qualifications

• NDIS Commission suitability at Core level or above
• Experience delivering Positive Behaviour Support within the NDIS
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain
• Driver’s licence and reliable vehicle – this is a mobile community role
• Strong communication, relationship-building and organisational skills
• A collaborative approach and willingness to share, learn and celebrate the wins with your team

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred Positive Behaviour Support across home, school and community settings
• Conduct functional behaviour assessments and develop Behaviour Support Plans
• Support participants across autism, ADHD, intellectual disability, developmental disability and complex behaviours
• Collaborate with families, support networks and your broader multidisciplinary team
• Manage a community caseload shaped around your location where possible
• Participate in regular clinical supervision, mentoring and MDT collaboration
