Job summary

NES Fircroft, partnering with a major mining operation in the Northern Territory, seeks an experienced Water Engineer for an initial 12-month assignment. You will lead surface water management, hydrology, and water infrastructure planning to support safe and efficient mining operations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil, Environmental or Water Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years water engineering experience in mining or heavy industry.
• Experience with surface water management, drainage, sediment control.
• Proven ability to develop scoping, project plans and technical studies.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of practical water management solutions for the mine.
• Oversee hydrological assessments and surface water planning.
• Ensure water infrastructure aligns with current and future mine planning requirements.
