Job summary

Sodexo is seeking an Assistant Village Manager to join our flagship mining contract, FIFO from Perth on an 8:6 roster with 12-hour days. Reporting to the Village Manager, you will lead people, manage projects, and ensure safe, compliant village operations on a complex site.

You will be a strong communicator, with experience in people management and project coordination, and you will drive continuous improvement while upholding HSE and HR requirements. A WA manual license is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in people and project management.
• Current WA Manual Driver’s licence required.
• Willing to obtain CPR/First aid, Snake Handling, Fire Warden tickets.
• Remote site experience desirable; hospitality leadership transferable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing village operations and reporting to the Village Manager.
• Build and support teams, promoting effective communication and teamwork.
• Act as safety leader with understanding of HSE and HR legislation.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement new systems, policies and procedures.
