Job summary

Mainline Services Group Pty Ltd is seeking an Assistant Village Manager to support the day-to-day operation of a remote mining village in Australia. The role requires hands-on involvement in catering, housekeeping, accommodation services and staff coordination on a FIFO or site roster.

You will assist the Village Manager, supervise staff, manage stock, ensure food safety and workplace safety, and communicate with clients to maintain service quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in remote camp, mining village operations.
• Experience supervising or leading teams in remote sites.
• Knowledge of HACCP, food safety and site compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist Village Manager with daily village operations.
• Support catering, housekeeping, accommodation, and service delivery.
• Supervise site staff during rostered shifts.
• Assist with stock control, reporting and client communication.
• Prepare daily and weekly operational reports.
• Act as Relief Village Manager when required.
• Ensure policies and client requirements are followed.
