South32 Group Operations Pty. Ltd. is seeking a Superintendent Mining Systems & Improvement to lead the Mine Monitoring and Control function, optimise safety, production and asset utilisation.

The role will partner with Mining, Planning, Maintenance and Technical Services to ensure delivery of the mine plan and business objectives. Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics or related discipline.
• Lean, Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement qualification.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Mine Monitoring and Control function to optimise safety, production, equipment utilisation and performance.
• Dispatc h function leadership to maximise productivity and plan compliance.
• Use data analytics to identify trends, constraints and improvement opportunities.
• Drive operational improvement projects from identification through to benefits.
