Ravenswood Gold Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Mining Support Services Superintendent to lead key operational support functions including Tailings Reclaim & Haulage, Tailings Dredging, ROM Management, and mining site operational support functions.

The role ensures efficient, compliant, and safe water management across the site, supporting mining operations while maintaining regulatory and environmental commitments.

Qualifications

• Budgeting and 8+ years' mining operations experience.

Ravenswood Gold is seeking an experienced Mining Support Services Superintendent to lead key operational support functions including Tailings Reclaim & Haulage, Tailings Dredging, ROM Management, and mining site operational support functions.

The role ensures efficient, compliant, and safe water management across the site, supporting mining operations while maintaining regulatory and environmental commitments.

About the Role

Reporting to the Mining Manager, you will:

• Lead Tailings Reclaim & Haulage operations to achieve production targets safely and efficiently.


• Manage Tailings Dredging activities, ensuring compliance with approved plans and site standards.


• Coordinate ROM management and mining support activities to optimise crusher feed performance.


• Supervise contractor workforces and ensure accountability, performance and compliance.


• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, productivity and cost reduction.


• Manage operational budgets and control costs across areas of responsibility.


• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.


• Build strong working relationships with Mining, Processing, Geology, Survey, Environment and Geotechnical teams.


• Promote a proactive and visible safety culture across all operational areas.

About You

• Degree in Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering or similar.


• Strong understanding of water balance modelling and hydrology


• Familiarity with pumping systems, pipelines, and water infrastructure


• Budgeting and 8+ years' mining operations experience.


• Proven leadership experience in a Superintendent or Senior Supervisory role.


• Experience managing contractors and multidisciplinary teams.


• Strong understanding of mining operations, material movement and site support functions.


• Experience with dredging operations (desirable).


• Knowledge of water management, pumping systems and related infrastructure.


• Strong budgeting, cost control and risk management skills.


• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.


• Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to continuous improvement.
