Fortescue Metals Group is seeking a Structural Engineer for its Hedland Operations. The role covers day-to-day structural engineering tasks, inspections, assessments, and reporting of defects on fixed plant assets and non-process infrastructures, including review of drawings and calculations for non-complex structures.

The successful candidate will bring substantial design/analysis experience, knowledge of mining equipment, and strong asset-management understanding.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor of Engineering (Civil or Structural) required.
• Membership in Engineers Australia.
• Holds or can obtain Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC).
• Holds a valid Western Australia C-class driver’s license.

Aufgaben

• Substantial experience on structural design and analysis.
• Knowledge of mining equipment and fixed plant assets.
• Sound understanding of Asset Management in line with inspection of mining equipment and infrastructure such as balanced machines, fixed plant assets, and non-process infrastructures.
• Knowledge of geotechnical and civil works
