Job summary

Dyno Nobel is seeking an experienced Parts Interpreter/Inventory Controller for its Moranbah operation. Reporting to the Asset Care Team, you will manage the spares inventory and support a fleet of explosive manufacturing assets on a 12hr roster with housing support or FIFO options.

You will excel in SAP, Microsoft Office, and data analysis, while maintaining strong vendor relationships and attention to cost control.

Qualifications

• Experience in stores or parts control and distribution.
• Current LV license is required.
• Forklift license is preferred.
• Strong numeric skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Certificate/Diploma in stores or parts interpretation advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain critical spares and stores inventory.
• Set up and adhere to minimum and maximum quantities and implement pull systems.
• Review RM costs and flag unplanned costs with site and area manager.
• Perform regular audits of stores and parts inventory.
• Support business partner and team priorities.
• Manage and track all on and off site rotable items.
• Prepare reports and monitor process effectiveness.
• Filing and management of maintenance documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Acts, legal demands and ethical standards.
• Participate in/site-based business improvement initiatives.
• Freight and freight logistic management.
