Job summary

Dyno Nobel in Moranbah is seeking an experienced Parts Interpreter/Inventory Controller to support a busy maintenance operation. You will manage critical spares, inventory levels and rotable items for a fleet of mobile and fixed assets, with emphasis on accuracy and timely reporting.

The role requires SAP, Microsoft Suite and Lotus Notes proficiency, a current LV license, forklift licence preferred, and a hands-on, proactive approach to continuous improvement within a safety-first culture.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in a stores or parts control and distribution position.
• Hold a current LV license.
• Hold a current forklift license (preferential).
• Have a high level of numeric skills.
• Mechanical background or aptitude.
• Have a great attitude and reliability.
• Certificate or Diploma in stores or parts interpretation advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain critical spares and store’s inventory.
• Set up and adhere to minimum and maximum quantities and implement pull systems.
• Review RM costs and record/flag unplanned costs with site and area manager.
• Perform regular audits of stores and parts inventory.
• Support business partner and team priorities.
• Management and tracking of all on and off site rotable.
• Prepare reports when needed and monitor process effectiveness.
• Filing and management of maintenance documentation.
• Ensure compliance with relevant Acts, legal demands and ethical standards.
• Participate in/support site-based Business Improvement initiatives.
• Maintain change management protocols.
• Freight and freight logistic management.
