Job summary

Whitehaven Coal's Daunia mine near Moranbah in Queensland seeks a Warehouse Operator to support maintenance and mining operations by receiving, storing and issuing materials, while keeping SAP S/4HANA records accurate. You will ensure parts are available to minimise downtime and maximise equipment availability.

You will collaborate with Maintenance, Operations, and Supply teams to prioritise critical materials, expedite urgent freight, and uphold safety, housekeeping, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Experience in mining, warehouse, logistics or heavy industry is required.
• LF High Risk Work Licence, coal Board Medical, Standard 11 and QLD Driver Licence are required.
• Experience with goods receipting and inventory control preferred.
• Strong safety focus and ability to work independently and with a team.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, store and issue materials safely and accurately, including picking and staging parts.
• Maintain inventory transactions in SAP S/4HANA (goods receipts/issues, bin transfers, stocktakes).
• Coordinate inbound/outbound freight, prioritise critical materials and ensure safe transport.
• Expedite urgent freight to minimise downtime and support equipment availability.
• Provide warehouse support to Maintenance, Operations and Supply teams and resolve discrepancies.
• Follow Safety, Health and Environmental requirements and maintain housekeeping.
