Job summary

Dyno Nobel is seeking a Maintenance Fitter to safely deliver daily maintenance, implement preventive and corrective tasks across heavy vehicles and on-site equipment, and support asset reliability and continuous improvement. You will work with operations and maintenance teams to ensure safe, reliable plant operations.

This role is Moranbah-based with a 12-hour 7x7 roster, offering an above-market package, 12% superannuation, a 5% bonus, and housing or DIDO/FIFO options.

Qualifications

• Mechanical trade certification – Diesel/Mechanic.
• Volvo Equipment experience – nominally rigid trucks.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Auto electrical competency.
• Heavy Rigid vehicle licence (advantageous).
• Dangerous Goods licence (advantageous).
• Queensland police clearance (SSAN).

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver daily maintenance requirements and KPI adherence.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on heavy vehicles and equipment.
• Lead maintenance execution with health, safety and quality programs.
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to improve asset reliability.
