Job summary

Dyno Nobel in Moranbah is seeking a Maintenance Fitter to safely deliver daily maintenance, plan KPI’s, and support asset reliability across heavy vehicles and manufacturing equipment.

You will perform preventative and corrective work, lead on-site maintenance in line with HSEQ, and collaborate with operations. The role requires safety leadership and strong communication; 12% superannuation and a 5% bonus structure are included.

Qualifications

• Volvo equipment experience with rigid trucks (heavy vehicles)
• SAP experience preferred
• Basic computer proficiency required
• Heavy rigid vehicle licence advantageous
• Dangerous Goods licence advantageous
• Queensland police clearance (SSAN) required or advantageous

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily maintenance requirements, plans and KPI's in line with HSEQ procedures.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on heavy vehicles and specialised equipment.
• Support asset reliability, equipment performance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead maintenance execution on site in accordance with health, safety and quality programs.
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure safe, reliable operations.

$142,000 per year plus 12% superannuation, plus a 5% bonus structure

DIDO will attract a 10k market allowance

FIFO will attract provided flights from Brisbane

Residential will attract housing support

The Role

To safely and successfully deliver daily maintenance requirements, plans and KPI's in accordance with company values, legislative requirements and HSEQ procedures. The Maintenance Fitter is responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance activities, inspections, diagnostics, fault finding and repairs across heavy vehicles and specialised manufacturing equipment to ensure safe and reliable operations. Working collaboratively with operations and maintenance teams, the role supports asset reliability, equipment performance and continuous improvement initiatives.

In addition, the Maintenance Fitter will lead maintenance execution in line with health, safety and quality programs relating to all maintenance activities performed on site.

To be competent in the role, you will need:

Volvo Equipment Experience – nominally rigid trucks

SAP experience preferred

Basic computer proficiency

Heavy Rigid vehicle licence (advantageous)

Dangerous Goods licence (advantageous)

Queensland police clearance (SSAN)

The Site

The role is located within Moranbah town – based on a 12hr 7days on 7days off roster with residential housing support, DIDO or FIFO with camp supplied.
