Job summary

Iluka Resources invites applications for a Planner role at the Balranald operation, a pioneering, remotely operated underground mining project. The role focuses on leading work management for operations and maintenance to sustain best-practice asset management planning and scheduling.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will shape maintenance strategy, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with maintenance, operations, and engineering to optimise plant performance at Balranald.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification or planning/scheduling experience.
• Strong work management processes.
• Experience maintaining mining/mineral processing plants (fixed and mobile).
• Exposure to mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience with CMMS systems such as SAP.

Responsibilities

• Maximise plant utilisation and operate to full potential with shift personnel.
• Utilise CMMS to identify outstanding tasks and coordinate maintenance.
• Assist with breakdown maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Prioritise maintenance tasks with Superintendents and engineers.
• Organise weekly planning meetings and schedule maintenance/outages.
• Own and adjust master data with asset management.
• Collaborate with operations for high-quality planning of site works.
• Work with engineering to oversee classified plant management.
• Coordinate with suppliers for spare parts and parts management.
