Job summary
Iluka Resources is seeking an experienced Reliability Engineer to join the Balranald Maintenance team on a permanent basis. The role focuses on value optimisation across the project lifecycle at a high-grade mineral sands operation featuring screening, flotation, and magnetic separation processes.
The role reports to the Maintenance Manager and involves downtime analysis, reliability tooling, and asset management standardisation, with FIFO/DIDO/Residential options and relocation support where
Qualifications
- Engineering degree or related discipline; trade background is highly regarded.
- Experience in a mining or processing environment.
- Strong attention to detail; commitment to continuous improvement.
- Proficiency with Excel; SAP experience is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Manage, analyse and report on downtime data.
- Apply reliability engineering tools (FMECA, RCA, 5 Whys, RCM, Weibull) and defect eliminations.
- Minimise downtime by analyzing asset availability, reliability and maintainability.
- Review and optimise asset maintenance strategies and standards.
- Provide technical support to solve complex asset performance issues.
- Coach maintenance teams on asset management and reliability best practices.
