Iluka Resources is seeking a Health & Safety Superintendent for our Balranald operation in regional NSW. This site-based role leads the HSE team, driving safety culture with coaching, mentoring, and active engagement across the operation.

You will establish programs, ensure regulatory compliance, oversee injury management, and promote a culture of Safe Production Leadership. FIFO/DIDO options and relocation support are available.

Qualifications

• Experience leading safety, health, and occupational hygiene across mining operations.
• Strong knowledge of NSW mining legislation and industry standards.
• Proven track record in injury prevention and incident investigations.

Responsabilités

• Establish, lead and monitor safety, health and occupational hygiene programs and systems.
• Drive continuous improvement of safety, health and occupational hygiene practices.
• Lead and mentor a small team of multi-disciplinary professionals.
• Maintain statutory compliance with regulators.
• Oversee workers' compensation, injury prevention and injury management processes.
• Promote Safe Production Leadership and conduct safety visits.
• Manage and audit site compliance with Group HSEC standards & procedures.
• Lead/facilitate incident investigations including ICAMs, analyze root causes.
• Develop, implement and manage First Response capability for site needs.
