Job summary

Hastings Deering (Australia) Ltd is seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to join our team on a mining site in a permanent 14 on 14 off role. You will plan scheduled maintenance, manage parts lists and resources, and coordinate repairs while ensuring safety and efficiency across all equipment.

The role requires a Certificate III in Engineering Mechanical Trade and at least two years supervising a technical team, with SAP knowledge valued.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience supervising a team providing technical solutions.
• Dedicated commitment to health and safety.
• Excellent communication, documentation and time management skills.
• Strong initiative and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Plan scheduled maintenance on all machines and equipment assigned to the role.
• Create parts lists and allocate resources; complete work orders.
• Review defect list and plan repairs at the optimal time.
• Manage planning for service letters, defect sheets, SOS actions, parts and resources.
• Maintain up-to-date bills of material for planned events.
