Job summary

Hastings Deering Australia is seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to join our Darwin mining operations on a permanent 14 on/14 off schedule.

You will plan scheduled maintenance, create parts lists and resource allocations, manage defects and service letters, and ensure safe, reliable equipment with SAP familiarity.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Engineering Mechanical Trade or related discipline.
• Minimum two years’ experience supervising a team providing technical solutions.
• Dedicated commitment to health and safety and safe work practices.
• Excellent communication, documentation and time management skills.
• Strong adherence to quality control and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Plan scheduled maintenance on all machines and equipment assigned to the role.
• Create all parts lists and allocate resources; complete work orders.
• Review defect list and schedule repairs at optimal times.
• Manage planning requirements for service letters, defect sheets, SOS actions and parts.
• Maintain up-to-date bills of materials for planned events and drive site processes.
