Job summary

Glencore is seeking a Maintenance Fitter for Clermont Open Cut in Queensland. The role supports day-to-day maintenance, providing technical leadership and ensuring SHMS compliance on site. A safety-conscious candidate with hands-on approach is required.

Ideal applicants will hold a Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade and have at least 2 years' experience in a large mining operation, plus a valid QLD driver’s licence. Attractive incentives, roster and FIFO/DIDO options are offered.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade is required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a large mining operation.
• Clean and valid QLD Driver’s Licence.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day maintenance requirements at Clermont Open Cut.
• Provide technical leadership, guidance and support for maintenance management and SHMS compliance.
• Work in breakdown conditions with minimal supervision.
• Follow safe work practices at all times.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and attention to detail.
