Job summary

Xylem is seeking a proactive sales professional to achieve territory objectives within mining and industrial markets in Australia, promoting Xylem products, building long-term relationships with customers, consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders, and delivering timely reports.

You will collaborate with sales and support teams, use CRM for accurate records, respond to market changes, and contribute to growth through campaigns and exhibitions.

Qualifications

• Experience in external sales with exposure to mining/industrial markets.
• Strong sales fundamentals including lead generation, pipeline management and closing.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement territory sales plans to achieve objectives and drive growth.
• Conduct regular customer visits, provide technical guidance and solutions.
• Identify new opportunities via market intelligence and tenders.
• Prepare orders, maintain CRM records, and report on activities.
• Build relationships with customers, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Support growth through marketing initiatives, exhibitions and events.
