Job summary

FLSmidth in Australia is seeking an experienced Field Service Supervisor to lead and coordinate service and maintenance across customer sites and our workshop operations.

You will supervise Mechanical and Screen Service teams, uphold safety leadership, manage resources, plan work with service technicians, and collaborate with planning and engineering to improve maintenance strategies. Travel to various sites is required and a trade qualification with mining experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a site service or maintenance team in mining.
• CHPP shutdown experience is highly regarded.
• Coal mine inductions and current competencies.
• Current Australian manual driver's licence.
• Strong safety leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate planned and unplanned service and maintenance activities across customer sites and workshop operations.
• Supervise Mechanical and Screen Service teams, ensuring safe execution, productivity and effective utilisation of resources.
• Demonstrate visible safety leadership through Safety Leadership Tours, Toolbox Talks and safety initiatives.
• Plan and allocate work to Service Technicians, balancing priorities and resources.
• Coordinate predictive and preventative maintenance activities with planning teams; support shutdown preparation.
• Maintain customer relationships and provide practical solutions to requirements.
• Provide hands-on technical support when required.
