Job summary

FLSmidth in Beresfield, Australia, seeks a skilled Site Service Fitter to service and repair mining equipment on client sites and in the workshop. Monday to Friday with travel covered, and a company-provided ute equipped with tools and PPE.

Ideal candidates hold a mechanical trade qualification and hands-on experience with screens, centrifuges, sizers, crushers, and pumps. A proven field service background in mining and strong safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a mechanical trade qualification and a valid Driver's Licence.
• Hands-on experience with screens and centrifuge, sizers and crushers and centrifugal pumps (Krebs, Warman, Metso).
• Previous field service experience in mining.
• Clean track record in mining operations and safety.
• Computer literacy for report generation and communication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections, servicing, and repairs on customer sites and in the workshop.
• Respond to breakdowns promptly to minimise downtime.
• Provide detailed photographic reports and maintenance recommendations to clients.
• Maintain high equipment availability through efficient planning and execution.
• Uphold strict safety protocols and compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve optimal results on site.
• Work away from home on site-based assignments when required.
