Job summary

Evolution Mining is seeking a Mining Engineer – Studies to shape long-term growth at Northparkes. You’ll contribute to underground studies across concept to feasibility, influencing ventilation, mine design and strategic planning.

You’ll work on a 5:2 / 4:3 residential roster near Parkes, NSW, collaborating with technical specialists to evaluate scenarios and drive safe, practical development plans.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mining Engineering and registration or eligibility.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in underground hard rock mining.
• Strong underground ventilation knowledge and modelling experience.
• Proficiency using VentSim for ventilation planning, modelling and evaluation.
• Proficiency using Deswik.CAD for underground mine design.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to ventilation planning and assessment activities.
• Develop mine designs and schedules for future opportunities.
• Prepare technical analyses and study outputs for strategic planning.
• Collaborate with geology, geotechnical, ventilation and operations teams.
• Produce high-quality technical reports for investment decisions.
