Job summary

MinRes is seeking a Mining Engineer to join the Central Pilbara team on an 8D6X roster. You will contribute to drill and blast planning, mine design, and scheduling to optimize throughput across multiple pits and sites.

The role provides exposure to world-class facilities, strong safety culture, and opportunities for short- to medium-term planning, reconciliation, and collaboration with production teams.

Qualifications

• Established Drill and Blast and Mining Planning experience and qualifications within Mining Engineering or similar discipline.
• Team-oriented mindset, focused on quality and solutions.
• Adaptable to changing environments with a strong commitment to safety.
• Software experience in Vulcan or a similar software is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide support with Production and Drill and Blast departments including reporting, drill and blast and mine plans and schedules.
• Monitor and adjust Drill and Blast and mining resourcing requirements.
• Maintain and improve the Drill and Blast process.
• Carry out and report QA/QC on the Drill and Blast Process.
• Develop, implement and maintain design & planning processes.
• Undertake Drill and Blast related project studies and investigations.
• Provide technical services support to production and other execution teams to safety.
