Job summary

Mineral Resources is seeking a Mine Engineer to support site operations at Mt Marion. Reporting to the Superintendent Technical Services, you will manage mine engineering and technical services within drill and blast, driving safe, efficient execution across plans and events.

You will bring tertiary Mining Engineering credentials, strong communication and analytical skills, and hands-on experience with Vulcan, ShotPlus, and BlastIQ.

Qualifications

• Established experience within mine operations in the resources industry preferably in hard rock.
• Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering or related disciplines.
• Competency with major recognized mining design and scheduling software such as Vulcan,Shot Plus, Blast IQ or similar.
• High degree of communication and analytical skills and strong organisational and problem solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Delivering D&B designs, load plans, tie-in plans, post blast analysis & heritage packs.
• Managing CLUP process through daily interaction with mining and DB teams.
• Acting as the primary owner of process and practice improvement between the d&B planning and D&B operations team.
• Providing feedback on 2 week Plans.
• Proactively identify risks and opportunities within the short‑term and tactical planning horizons, including relevant deep‑dives to support management decisions.
