Job summary

Genus is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor - Electrical to lead a team of Maintenance Electricians in a mining environment. You will report to the client’s Maintenance Superintendent and ensure all planned, breakdown and corrective maintenance is performed safely and efficiently.

This hands-on leadership role requires strong electrical knowledge, excellent communication, and proven ability to manage crews on-site.

Qualifications

• Current WA Electrical Workers Licence.
• Section 26 Statutory Supervisor Qualification.
• Current EWP Licence.
• Current Working at Heights certification.
• Current CPR & LVR certification.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence.
• Demonstrated experience supervising maintenance crews within mining or heavy industry environments.
• Strong commitment to safety leadership and compliance.
• Excellent planning, organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of Maintenance Electricians.
• Coordinate daily maintenance activities to maximise plant reliability and availability.
• Ensure preventative and breakdown maintenance is completed safely and efficiently.
• Conduct pre-start meetings, toolbox talks and safety interactions.
• Manage shift resources and maintenance priorities.
• Ensure compliance with site safety standards, procedures and statutory requirements.
• Support work planning, scheduling and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Liaise with client personnel, operations and contractors to achieve maintenance objectives.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring and leadership to maintenance personnel.
• Complete maintenance reporting, work management documentation and shift handovers.
