Job summary

Foxleigh Mining seeks an experienced Maintenance Leading Hand to lead safe, reliable maintenance across our mining fleet. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will coordinate and guide on‑shift maintenance activities, ensuring quality execution and compliance with site standards.

You will mentor tradespeople, oversee preventative and breakdown work, and support equipment availability through strong leadership and problem solving.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership of maintenance crews.
• Strong safety culture and compliance focus.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance activities on shift across haulage fleet and ancillary equipment.
• Coordinate preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance.
• Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching and technical guidance to tradespeople and apprentices.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and shift handover documentation.
• Collaborate with Operations, Planning and Reliability teams to achieve production objectives.
