Evolution Mining’s Northparkes Operations is offering a four-year Apprenticeship Program focused on electrical maintenance. The role involves hands-on maintenance of electrical and IT systems, with formal TAFE training and a 9-day fortnight roster Monday–Friday.

You’ll develop in a safety‑driven, accountable team, supported by experienced tradespeople and relocation and study assistance options. You will complete or be completing Year 12, hold a current Driver’s Licence, and bring fault‑finding

Qualifications

• Year 12 completed or in progress with a current Driver’s Licence.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work with digital systems.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the reliability and safe operation of Northparkes’ fixed and mobile plant and equipment.
• Conduct installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems including IT networks and communication systems.
• Attend TAFE and complete formal training requirements.
• Perform preventative maintenance and shutdown repairs on high and low voltage infrastructure.
• Identify defects and provide feedback on work orders.
• Support maintenance planning and contribute to equipment upgrades.
