Job summary

Workpac Group is seeking an experienced operator for a wet weather contract in Queensland. The role involves maintaining haul roads and operating Dozers, Water Carts, and Graders across the site, with a 7/7 roster and 12-hour shifts.

The position requires Water Cart experience, CAT 777 haul truck experience, Grader proficiency, and Standard 11/Coal Board Medical, along with full Australian working rights. Camp accommodation is provided for the contract duration.

Qualifications

• Mining experience on ancillary equipment.
• Water Cart experience (essential).
• Minimum haul truck experience on CAT 777 or equivalent.
• Grader experience (essential).
• Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical.
• Current Driver's Licence and full Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining haul roads and mining infrastructure during wet weather operations.
• Operating Dozers, Water Carts, and Graders or Scraper across site.
• Assisting with road maintenance, drainage management, and rehabilitation activities.
• Conducting pre-start inspections and reporting equipment defects.
• Working safely in accordance with site procedures and operational requirements.
• Supporting mine operations through effective road and water management.
