Job summary

Caterpillar is seeking a MineStar Implementation specialist to deploy underground MineStar modules (Command for Underground and Fleet/Detect for Underground) at new sites and upgrade existing installations. You will configure, test, and integrate the software to meet contract and site requirements.

The role involves installing the complete underground MineStar system, providing training to end users, supporting deployment with dealers and customers, and following project management processes.

Qualifications

• Technical Bachelor's degree or related IT/engineering experience.
• Extensive hands-on experience with MineStar or similar mining software implementations.
• Experience with IT system architectures, enterprise infrastructure and cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure the complete underground MineStar system to meet contract and site-specific needs.
• Support implementation of system modules to specification and gather requirements from the customer’s business analysis.
• Plan and execute integrated testing and customer acceptance testing.
• Provide implementation training to end users and system administrators.
• Perform implementation and integration tasks for internal and external customers.
