Job summary

Evolution Mining's Northparkes Operations is looking for a Mineralogy Technician to support mineralogical testing and sample preparation for XRD and SEM analyses. You will work with an experienced team, preparing samples and contributing to metallurgy, mine planning and operation decisions.

You'll gain extensive training, mentoring, and a pathway to develop specialist knowledge in mineralogy within a supportive lab environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in laboratory, mineral processing or sample preparation environments.
• Knowledge of sample preparation techniques such as crushing, splitting, milling or pulverising.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• A proactive approach to safety and continuous improvement.
• The ability to work collaboratively within a close knit team.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process mineralogy samples for XRD and SEM analysis.
• Support mineralogical testing that informs operational and technical decisions.
• Deliver high-quality laboratory work safely and efficiently.
