Job summary

Evolution Mining is seeking a Metallurgical Technician at Cowal Gold Operations to support plant performance through sampling, testwork and data analysis. You''ll gain hands-on exposure across metallurgy, sampling, testwork and process improvement on a seven-on/seven roster.

Based at Cowal, you will work with Metallurgists, Operators, Maintenance and Laboratory staff to enable informed technical decisions and continuous improvement in a large-scale gold processing plant.

Qualifications

• Experience in a mineral processing plant, industrial laboratory or technical support environment.
• Strong commitment to safety, procedural compliance and data integrity.
• Experience with sampling, testwork, calibration or process monitoring activities.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Help deliver the data and technical insights that drive plant performance improvements.
• Support metallurgical investigations, plant trials and optimisation initiatives.
• Ensure accurate sampling, monitoring and quality control processes that underpin sound operational decisions.
• Maintain critical monitoring and analytical equipment that supports safe, reliable plant operations.
• Contribute practical ideas and continuous improvement initiatives across the processing operation.
