Job summary
Evolution Mining's Cowal Gold Operations is seeking a Metallurgical Technician to support the metallurgy team in understanding plant performance and driving improvements. You will gain hands-on exposure to sampling, testwork, monitoring and process improvement at a premier gold operation in Australia.
Working a 7:7 residential roster, you will collaborate with experienced metallurgists, operators, maintenance and laboratory staff to develop technical skills and contribute to plant optimisation
Qualifications
- Experience in a mineral processing plant or industrial laboratory environment.
- Strong commitment to safety, data integrity and procedural compliance.
- Experience with sampling, testwork, calibration or process monitoring activities.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and ability to work in technical teams.
Responsibilities
- Deliver data and technical insights that drive plant performance improvements.
- Support metallurgical investigations, plant trials and optimisation initiatives.
- Ensure accurate sampling, monitoring and quality control processes.
- Maintain critical monitoring and analytical equipment.
- Contribute practical ideas and continuous improvement across processing operations.
