BHP Group is seeking a motivated Supervisor Mine Services Pumps to lead a diverse team responsible for the safe operation, maintenance and performance of site water management and dewatering systems in the Bowen Basin, Queensland.

You will coordinate dewatering pumps, pipelines and infrastructure, monitor performance, and partner with Production, Maintenance and Contractors to deliver reliable water management outcomes while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Experience leading teams in mining, water management, or related operations.
Strong leadership and coaching capabilities for a diverse workforce.
Experience coordinating pumps, pipelines and dewatering infrastructure.
Ability to partner with operations, technical services and contractors.

Responsibilities

Lead and support a team delivering mine dewatering and water management activities.
Foster an inclusive, high-performing team culture.
Coordinate installation, relocation, operation and maintenance of dewatering pumps and pipelines.
Monitor pump system performance to support production and minimise downtime.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure water management aligns with mine plans.
Identify safety, efficiency and equipment improvements and drive them.
Provide coaching and development to team members.
Champion a strong safety culture through leadership and risk management.
