Job summary

Rosebel Gold Mines N.V. seeks a motivated Technical Assistant to support day-to-day training operations by developing manuals, procedures, and best practices that promote safe equipment use.

You will collaborate with the Training Department to plan and deliver programs. The successful candidate will maintain training records, assist with budgets, mentor staff, and help implement continuous improvement while complying with policies.

Qualifications

• HAVO, VWO, IMEAO diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of mine operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of equipment used in Mine Operations.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work in a team with employees at all levels.
• Willingness to rotate 5 days on/2 days off in Brokopondo.
• Good Dutch and English communication.
• Police Clearance Certificate may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Training Coordinator and Supervisors with planning, coordination and delivery of employee training programs.
• Support development and improvement of training lessons, workshops, and learning materials.
• Perform administrative duties: document control, training records, budget monitoring.
• Mentor employees to support development and performance goals.
• Promote safe, efficient and environmentally responsible practices in training activities.
