Rosebel Gold Mines N.V. on the Gold Coast seeks a Senior Mine Operations Manager to lead safe, efficient, and cost-effective ore production. You will oversee planning, production targets, budgeting, and workforce development as a member of the senior management team.

You will coordinate across technical services, engineering, maintenance, geology, and other departments, ensure compliance with mining laws, drive continuous improvement, and report daily to corporate leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of mining experience, with at least 5 years in a supervisory/management role.
• Strong knowledge of mining methods, mine production, planning, and operational practices.
• Knowledge of mining legislation, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Excellent oral and writing skills in English and Chinese.
• Ability to lead and develop mine operations teams.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute mine production strategies, plans, and annual production targets.
• Oversee daily mining operations and monitor production performance, costs, quality, and efficiency.
• Coordinate with Mine Technical Services, Engineering, Maintenance, Geology, and other departments to optimize mine development and production.
• Review geological, survey, engineering, and operational data to support mine planning and decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with mining legislation, company policies, health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity, reduce costs, and improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure adequate manpower, equipment, and resources are available to achieve production targets.
• Lead, develop, and manage the mine operations team, including performance management, training, and workforce development.
• Contribute to mine strategy, budgeting, and mid- to long-term operational planning as a member of the senior management team.
• Daily report to corporate leadership.
