Qualifications

• Mine planning background with experience in 2-year or short- to medium-term planning.
• Experience in mine design or consultancy is advantageous.
• Familiarity with planning tools such as Alastri, Deswik, or Vulcan.
• Understanding of electrical infrastructure and energisation concepts.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as interface with 2-Year and operations planning teams and attend planning meetings.
• Translate 2-Year mine plans into near-term electrical infrastructure and energisation requirements.
• Model HME charging demand across pits over the 2-year horizon.
• Maintain the integrated pit register with current and planned infrastructure requirements.
• Integrate electrical infrastructure constraints into the 2-Year mine sequence and identify conflicts and required changes.
• Resolve scheduling conflicts between fleet deployment, energisation dates and mine plan timing.
• Identify short-term fleet deployment changes that may impact energisation schedules.
• Quantify infrastructure cost and schedule impacts arising from quarterly 2-Year plan changes and support trade-off analysis.
• Validate that Decarb Infrastructure planning reflects the latest approved 2-Year plan and publish relevant datasets to Anvil and Snowflake each quarter.
• Support change management and the standardisation of electrical infrastructure designs.
