AGL Loy Yang Mine is seeking a Mine Mechanical Fitter to perform maintenance and fault analysis to support safe, reliable operation in a heavy industrial setting. Reporting to the Mechanical Support Leader, you’ll work across planned, breakdown, and routine maintenance in a shift environment.
This 12-month fixed-term role requires a Mechanical Fitting trade, strong fault-finding skills, CMMS experience, and a willingness to work with production teams while strictly following safety practices.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Mine Mechanical Fitter to join our team at the AGL Loy Yang Mine. Reporting to the Mechanical Support Leader, you will carry out mechanical maintenance, fault analysis and preventative maintenance to support the safe, reliable and efficient operation of mine plant. Working in a shift environment, you will use your trade expertise to complete planned, breakdown and routine work while supporting production requirements.

You are a safety-focused mechanical tradesperson who enjoys solving problems and working as part of a team. You can adapt to changing priorities, communicate clearly with stakeholders and take ownership of delivering quality work in a complex heavy industrial environment.
