Job summary

Taylors Doors and Frames Pty Ltd in Brookvale NSW is seeking a Production Welder to join our metal door frame manufacturing team. You will use MIG welding equipment and air tools to assemble and finish frames.

Training will be provided to suitable candidates; you will learn to read job sheets, measure accurately and follow manufacturing instructions, while maintaining a safe, clean work area. Opportunity to develop welding and fabrication skills within an established Australian business.

Qualifications

• MIG welding experience preferred; training provided.
• Ability to measure accurately and follow instructions.
• Reliable, able to work with minimal supervision once trained.

You will use MIG welding equipment and air tools to assemble and finish pressed metal door frames.

Key responsibilities

Assembling and MIG welding metal door frame components

Using air tools to dress welds and prepare frames for finishing

Following job sheets, dimensions and manufacturing instructions

Checking frames for accuracy, squareness and finish

Maintaining a safe, clean and organised work area

About you

MIG welding experience preferred, although training will be provided to a suitable candidate

Good attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work

Ability to measure accurately and follow instructions

Ability to work with minimal supervision once trained

Reliability, a willingness to learn and a cooperative approach

A commitment to safe use of welding equipment and tools

Previous experience in metal fabrication or door frame manufacturing would be an advantage
